macarons, italian method and pretty pleased with them indeed!
Two different fillings, the pink with strawberry jam and the purple with apple and blackberry jam, both with vanilla buttercream.
They were made to top a birthday cake - vanilla with strawberries...which alas I forgot to photograph :( but imagine it!
